I am very proud to have recently been awarded Fellowship of the College of General Dentistry. The College of General Dentistry recently split away from the Royal College of Surgeons to become a new independent college solely focused on dentistry. A postgraduate diploma is required for membership. Fellowship of the new College, described as \u2018the hallmark of leadership and commitment to excellence in dentistry\u2019, entitles the holder to use the post-nominal designation \u2018FCGDent\u2019. It is necessary to meet the criteria for 3 out of 5 domains. My application included the domains; Clinical, Publications and Research, and Law and Ethics.
