Attending for regular check-ups is always a great idea. However, there are times when people have an urgent problem. They may be travelling and out of reach of their usual dentist, or may not be able to get an appointment soon enough with their usual dentist. And some people don’t have a regular dentist at all, either because they have moved and have not got round to organizing one, or because they avoid going due to a dental phobia or due to cost issues.
I am usually able to see patients at short notice and provide any urgent treatment needed. I am at the practice on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with some Saturdays. On Tuesdays, I even do a late session until 8 pm although this late slot is popular and does tend to get booked up ahead.

The fee for an urgent appointment is £65. This includes the consultation and an x-ray. If any treatment is required and time allows we are often able to do this on the day but cannot guarantee this, depending on what the exact problem is. The cost of any treatment will be discussed in advance. If antibiotics are needed for an acute infection we stock them at the practice and are able to dispense them here, saving you a visit to the chemist.
